secured credit application
The car papers will show as an inquiry on your credit bureau, as for the rest, no. If you only have one inquiry on your credit bureau, it’s fine…it’s is when there are a lot of inquiries it effects you badly. Hope this helps!!

secured credit application
Anytime you do anything that has to do with credit…fill out a credit card application, apply for a loan, etc., you take a ‘hit’ on your credit, but as long as you do not get carried away and apply for credit cards all over town or loans, etc., you should be ok.
I use to work at a department store that offered a number of credit cards and the store, itself, wasn’t satisfied when the customer applied for just ONE card, it wanted the customer to have ALL THREE and I was expected to ask every single customer (the store said it was because if I didn’t, it could be considered discrimination because if I asked the customer before them and the one after and not them, it could be considered as my having something against that person) and most often, the customer would be given incentives like an extra percentage off or maybe a little free promotional item that the store could not originally get rid of, such as where you buy something and get something for free with it).
The creditors also make money each time a person fills out an application, regardless of whether the credit is approved or not and this could generate upwards of $30-40+ which is why they encourage you to fill out so many applications.
As I said, if you are going to fill out an application for credit, just do ONE as an ‘For Emergency Use only’ (like for when you run short on cash and absolutely have to use it) and try to find one that STAYS LOW many creditors will try to give you a 2% APR to start with, but DO READ THE TINY PRINT BEFORE SIGNING because the rates can jump up after a certain time to as much as 25-30% APR (or 25-30c for every dollar you will have to pay back on money you spend on that credit card) and ALSO MAKE SURE TO READ ABOUT THE DUE DATE OF THE PAYMENTS because some creditors can and will charge a penalty of $30+ if you are even ONE DAY LATE on your payments.
