I have bad credit and am trying to build it back up. I can’t get an unsecured card and have been looking for a secured card. They’ll usually give me about a $300 limit, but then they want a monthly fee or annual fee, a one time set up or application fee and a bunch of other little fees. I refuse to be ripped off like this. By the time you pay all the fees it can often cost over $200 just to get a $300 card and often you can’t use the card until you pay back the initial fees. Can anyone point me towards a secured card which doesn’t seem like a total scam?
